You will enjoy better parking\u00a0than you receive at\u00a0most downtown events, and you don\u2019t have to pay for it.<\/p><ul><li><span class=\"s1\">The\u00a0<strong>12 hour<\/strong>\u00a0reserved parking stalls, the ones that are reserved until 8 pm,\u00a0<\/span><strong><span class=\"s3\">ARE AVAILABLE<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0to PTC patrons during performances. Holders of those permits know those spots will not be held for them during PTC performances.<\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"s1\">The\u00a0<strong>24 hour<\/strong>\u00a0reserved spots\u00a0<strong>ARE\u00a0NOT\u00a0available.<\/strong><\/span><\/li><li>The lot to the north of the old Field House is available to PTC patrons at no cost.<\/li><\/ul><div>\u00a0<\/div><p>We advise most patrons to park in the\u00a0<strong>Rice-Eccles Stadium parking lot<\/strong>, which is a one-block walk from the theatre. Patrons who park in this lot should walk through the tunnel which passes under South Campus Drive (400 South) and takes them directly to the sidewalk leading to Simmons PMT. My artist parents from Salt Lake City loved the Spanish people and their history. Soon after, we lived in Paris for 6 years where we reveled in French art, visits to the Louvre, and stained glass windows in cathedrals, all of which influenced my early works.<\/p><p>It is in Holland where I fell in love with trees. We lived in Limburg, the southern province of the Netherlands, in the tiny hamlet of Valkenburg. Our house was surrounded by miles of protected sanctuary. Still very young, I explored forest paths for 7 years, drawing trees and imagining myself a nomad in a mystical realm.<\/p><p>My family and I moved to Holladay, Utah in 1975. Here, my love of trees deepened, with every hike in the Wasatch mountains with my husband and dog, I learn to see anew. I am spell bound by tortured beauty of a gnarled tree trunk, foliage webbed in raindrops, a stray curled leaf, revealing beauty in death and life. Tree roots grasp the earth, as if it were their only way to prevent them from flying skyward\u2014their limbs outstretched to each other in a wind driven dance.<\/p><p>Just as Pando, located in southern Utah, is the largest known living organism on earth comprised of thousands of Quaking Aspen trees that are connected by one massive root system, so are we, the human race, connected to one another.<\/p><p>It is my art that roots me to this life. I hope my paintings bring you a sense of wonder and joy.<\/p><p>My mystical and expressionistic paintings of land and sea are painted on wood panels. Media includes acrylic paint, gold and silver leaf, opalescent powder, with a high gloss finish. There is no glass. This is my signature, mixed media technique since 1983.
